Served with Roy in the US Navy at Alameda Naval Air Station in the late 1960's. We worked to decommission ships. Roy visited my Modesto, CA home in 1969. One time when he was cleaning bilges, he came up at the end of the shift. He was so covered with diesel fuel that I didn't recognize him. Only his eyes showed a color other than sludge brown... LOL. Good to have known you friend!

I have thought of you and your family often over the years. Of all the cousins, I think we spent the most time with your family after all the moving around we did. My prayers are with your family.

We didn't know Roy, but knowing his Mom and sister Sandra, we know that the loving nature and kindness was there. Our prayers are with the family. God is in control and he loves us.

When I think of you i remember your sense of humor and how you made me laugh. I had forgotten how funny you could be. I wish we could have laughed more. I know your life made you happy and you were loved, and in the end, nothing else matters. I'm sorry I miss out on that. I will miss you and i love you brother. Sandra

Seems like only yesterday that Roy was a young boy running through our yard; but then time does have a way of passing so quickly. We are praying for his family. Hold your loved ones close!
