Billy Ray Trahan, Sr.11/12/38 to 05/05/07

Funeral services for Billy Ray Trahan, Sr., 68, of Sour Lake, will be 10:00 am Monday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Trahan died May 5, 2007 at his residence.

Born in Centralia, Texas, Billy was a longtime resident of this area. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Billy enjoyed fishing, riding his tractor and most of all spending time with his family. He was a member of Pipe Fitter Local 195.

Mr. Trahan is preceded in death by Lucille and Johnny McWilliams and Tom Benton Trahan.

Survivors include his wife Jo Ann Trahan of Sour Lake; son Billy Ray Trahan, Jr. and wife Janis of Sour Lake; daughters Phyllis Thompson and Mike Summers and Donna Kiser and husband Scotty all of Sour Lake; brothers Benny McWilliams of Kountze and Michael McWilliams of Lumberton; sisters Catherine Trahan of Orange, Tommie Palmer of Clarksville, TN, Brenda Richardson and Pam Baker both of Lumberton; step mother Orla Ketchum and eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
