William Franklin “Frank” Nowlin
William Franklin “Frank” Nowlin, 88, of Silsbee died May 31, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Frank was born in Silsbee February 7, 1919 to Patrick and Beulah Hatton Nowlin. He was a lifelong resident of this area. Franklin worked as a car inspector for Santa Fe Railroad before retiring. He was a member of Woodrow Baptist Church and was a U. S. Army veteran, proudly serving his country during WWII.
Survivors include his wife Sue Lauderdale Nowlin of Silsbee; three daughters Barbara Robinson and husband Charlie of Silsbee, Rita Blake and husband Mike of Byhalia, MS and Lori Harris of Silsbee; brother Orvis Nowlin and wife Mary of Warren; sister Patricia Koch and husband Albert of Hearne; sister-in-law Dorothy Nowlin of Warren; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service fro Mr. Nowlin will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday June 9, 2007 at Woodrow Baptist Church in Silsbee.
