My prayer is that My God will bring eternal peace and restore comfort to the lives of those who loved and cared for Scotty... and those of whom she loved as well. And let us mourn, but celebrite the life of an angel. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4

To her family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew Scotty from elementary school. I'm only sorry I didn't get a chance to know her in adult life. It was only recently, while reminiscing with another classmate that I learned of her passing. Again, my thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Hey beautifull! Just wanted to say I love you and I miss you so much. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. I can feel you around me all the time and it's comforting to know even though your with the Lord, your still in my heart. Just know even though your physically gone, you remain in the hearts of so many people here on earth. Rest in peace baby girl and we'll see ya on the other side!!! I LOVE YOU. Brian

Still praying for you and your family. I was at St. E in ICU waiting area the night of the accident with the Clint Evans family. Next, I learned my son was downstairs in ER on a Bmt EMS truck with someone from Lumberton involved in an accident. It was later that I learned it was Brian's wife, Scotty. I felt so bad for all of you and what you were going through. I knew Brian when I was a teacher at LHS. He was close friends to several of the students I taught in ALP---the foot ball players like Michael Hatley and Anthony Fraley. I remember Scotty as an outstanding, smiling, hardworking LHS basketball player for Coach Killam. I didn't know until after the accident, that my former student Carl Meza and Scotty were family. I haven't forgotten you even though weeks have passed. I think about you and Scotty everytime I drive on 11th street, PLUS every time I drive past the Blankenships on hwy. 421, I think about Mallori. My prayers of strength and comfort are with you all, Mrs. Laurie Thomas

We are SO sorry to hear of the loss of your sister. What a young age to pass away, yet God said that she has served well & He wanted her to be with Him now. I know what it is like to lose my mother at a young age. The loss stays with you all your life, but you know they are watching over you because I have felt my mother with me many times since I was 18. Now I am 61. You may not know the reason now, but smile & rejoice over the love that God has for all of you.

I want to thank each and every one of you who have expressed your condolences. This is the lowest point that I can EVER imagine my life being at and reading all of these words of encouragement are the only thing getting me through. All I ask is that as soon as you read this message, turn off your computer, run directly to those you love and squeeze'em as tight as you can. For, you TRULY never know when it may be your last opportunity. I loved my wife more than anyone will ever know and my heart will always belong to her. SCOTTY NICOLE TOWNSLEY NOV 2, 1978 - JULY 2, 2007 I LOVE YOU BABY GIRL AND I WILL BE WITH YOU VERY SOON.

To The Family, Friends, and All Who Knew Scotty: Please know that my heart has broken since I found out about Scotty and I cannot get her, the kids, and all who have suffered from her loss off of my mind. She was such a beautiful girl, very friendly with a true smile. I coached Mallori in soccer a few years back and Scotty never hesitated about making sure any demands were met when it came to Mallori. She never hesitated when I called her about practices, team meetings, shirts, whatever needed to be done for Mallori. Even though I saw her very little after that season, when I did, she always had a smile and kind words. She was never the type to forget you. I along with my 5 year old brother (at the time) lost our father at young ages. My heart goes out to Mallori and Darin as they try to understand and adjust to their loss. I will be praying for them and will not hesitate to make myself available to help in any way I can when the dust settles and the children begin the really face their grief. When you lose someone close to you and as you mature, you try to find ways to make some sort of positive out of what happened. My positive is to reach out and lend any support and counseling from my own experiences to children who have suffered the loss of a parent that was loved like I loved my father and I truly believe these children had a love for Scotty just as deep..you couldn't help but to. For the fathers of these children, you will be in my prayers. I will pray for your bravery and strength to now not only continue walking in your shoes as a father but to fulfill the large shoes of their mother. A saying from my Grandmother that has always gotten me through my hardships and grief, "God will never give you more than you can handle." Lay your hurt and grief at his feet and trust him with all your might, he will lead you through. Love, Melissa Glover

I am so sorry for your loss. Scotty was such a beautiful person inside and out. My prayers go out to her husband, children, parents, family and all of her many friends. I saw her for the first time in years a few months ago. We began talking that evening and it was like we picked up where we left off. She was such a sweet and caring person, giving me words of encouragement and making me feel so comfortable just as she always did. I am lucky to have been able to call her my friend. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Beautiful Scotty............. She was an angel on earth and now an angel in heaven. Anyone that was fortunate enough to know her knows how beautiful she was inside and out. She led a very busy life but never hesitated to take the time to lend a helping hand whenever you needed her. When talking with Scotty, you knew right away where her priorities stood. It was her kids and family. I'll never forget the enthusiasum and excitement she had when talking about her kids and family. She will be deeply missed and NEVER forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of this terrible tragedy. God Bless you, Donna Qualls

My prayers are with you all Mallori,Darin, Scotty Parents, brothers and sisters and their spouses. Scotty spoke so well about all of you, She was the best, I loved her so,We became so close this last month I know Scotty is in heaven because she Accepted the Lord and Savior in life, and asked God to forgive her daily, this was in my presences, I heard her do this. I believe she felt something. And I would tell her God forgives and Loves you,and always did.She would look up with those Big beautiful eyes, to try, and hold back the tears and say I know. She would always tell me, you sound just like my Mother I would just laugh and say, good, that means You have a good Mother. That should tell you something. She was so special, she just wanted to be loved,She wanted everyone including herself to be happy and live life to the fullest.Scotty you will be greatly missed, everyday for the rest of my life.I will see you again one day in Heaven.Love you Cynthia and Family
