Johnny E. Fail, Sr.Johnny E. Fail, Sr., 82, of Wildwood, passed away July 31, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Friday, August 3, 2007 at Wildwood Baptist Church in Village Mills with interment following in Village Mills Cemetery. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Don Mitchell and Rev. Jimmy Linn. Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm August 2, 2007 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.

Johnny was born October 1, 1924 in Beaumont, Texas to L. W. and Hester Fail. A longtime resident of Beaumont, he retired from the former Neches Butane Refinery in Port Neches. He was a Past Master of South Park Lodge #1320 and the recipient of the 50 Year Masonic Service Award. An active member of Wildwood Baptist Church, he was a deacon and served faithfully in the sound booth at the time of his illness.

Johnny is survived by his beloved wife of over 59 years, Doris Fail; his daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Truitt Eason of Belton; his son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Jean Fail of Bacliff; grandchildren, Stacy Eason of Englewood, Colorado, Sean Eason and his wife Melissa of Austin, Zach Rodriguez of Houston and Harold Schmoyer of Bacliff and great-grandchildren Carter Eason and Gage Wann of Austin. He is also survived by his brother Leroy Fail of Beaumont. Johnny was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Fail and sisters, Dorothy Duhon and Sarah Baggett.
