Funeral services for Laekyn Joleane Powell, infant daughter of Jodi and Josh Powell of Buna will be 2:00 pm Friday at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Laekyn died July 29, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Survivors other than her parents include brother Garrison McMurry of Buna; grandparents, Henry Joe and Debra Moss of Evadale and Sarah Powell of Buna; great grandparents Joe and Dorothy Duclion of Buna; aunts and uncles, Larry Joe and Carrie Fountain of Buna, Daniel and Sara Powell of Valiant, Oklahoma, Adam Powell of Buna and Elizabeth Powell of Beaumont. Laekyn was preceded in death by her PawPaw Thomas Powell, her Aunt Debbie Joleane Moss and great grandparents, Arthur and Myrtle Moss, Bennie and Louella Kelly, Marvin and Mary Powell and Edgar P. Clark.
