Alfred Riley Shafer Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1954 - 2007 Funeral services for Alfred Riley Shafer, 53, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Shafer died August 10, 2007 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Alfred was a native and lifelong resident of Silsbee. He was a carpenter by trade. Survivors include his wife Nanette Shafer of Silsbee; son Allen Shafer and wife Cathy of Kountze; daughters Michelle Shafer of Lumberton, Amy Ferguson and fiance Robert Imhoff of Silsbee and Ashley Bolton and husband Brandon of Beaumont; mother Juanita Shafer of Silsbee; sister Tammy Conner of Silsbee and six grandchildren.
