A memorial service for Carl Andrew Walters, Sr., 63, of Wildwood will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.
Mr. Walters passed away September 5, 2007 at his home in Wildwood.
A native of Elizabethtown, NJ, Carl was a longtime resident of Silsbee and lived in Cedar Park before retiring and moving to Wildwood. He was a US Air Force veteran and was a computer scientist by trade. Carl was an avid golfer.
Carl was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Dawn Walters. He is survived by his son Carl Andrew Walters, Jr. and wife Becky of Cheyenne, Wyoming; daughter Jodi Walters of Toledo Bend; grandchildren Anna and A J Walters of Cheyenne, Wyoming; brother Alf O. Walters, Jr. and wife Elin of North Carolina and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Please accept our deepest sympathy to the family. My husband Malcolm worked with Carl for a short period, but shared many good times with 'the Rat pack' at Mesa Hills Cafe in Austin. I myself have always known Carl to be a gentleman with a great sense of humor. He will definitely be missed.

Carl,Becky,Jodi and Alf, I'm sorry for your loss. While Carl was in Kansas City we became friends and golfed often. He will be missed. I'll keep you in my prayers.
