Dear Marie, I just discovered that Mr. Woodin had passed. I enjoyed so much talking about deer hunting with him. I will miss him very much.

PoP.....The last 35 years has been ups and downs...since you came into my life..I was only 9 years old when you married my mom...we had some good times and some not so good times..but that is just all apart of life...and i am already missing you.. I Went out to your grave today and set back up your flowers and it saddan my heart to see you lying there all along..but I know that you are happy where you are buried, cause you got to pick your spot out, and you was so proud of it..you had a lovely service and all that you ask for, we provided for you...I know that you are very impressed with us all for loving you and caring out your wishes... and all you asked for in the last year of your life was for us kids to take care of Mama...and you can rest now cause we are taking care of Mama and we will visit and keep up your grave site and one day you will have a head stone that you will be honored to have...always remember we all loved you in our own way... and will always have you in our hearts...Mama is still sad over your passing, she is still constantly talking about you and crying, it will take her along time to get over you, cause she took good care of you this past year, but in time, she will get better...all she talks about is meeting you in heaven...so one day we all will meet you in heaven ...all your kids and step kids and all your grand and great grands kids...and we will have a huge rejoicing day....and over all we will just catch up all on the good that has happened thru out our lives....and oh yeah....James said to tell you that he will try and kill as many deer as you have killed thru out your life...but I don't think no one can kill as many as you did...you killed more than any body I knew and I am so proud of you...always remember that we loved you more than you would ever know...and hope to meet you one day in heaven when our appointment comes up...take care of all the angels and don't give them that wooden nickel...lol...and enjoy spending time with your parents and foster parents and all your extended family and one day we will meet again...but this time I want to see you full of life instead of being in pain...the last day I saw you is the day you passed and I saw the pain in your eyes and you winked at me four times...and I knew that day, that you was telling me that you were going to be all right, and you was going home to be with the lord...and brittney my grandbaby...waved goodbye to you and you waved back..that just broke my heart...that is a day I will never forget and the look in your eyes nearly broke my heart and I knew that that God was calling you home...I am just glad that you are not in pain no longer and don't worry I will visit you often...you are gone but not forgotten..we love you...BJ took your passing very hard...he remember as a child how you took him hunting and taught him how to hunt deer and hogs...he was really amazed with all your knowledge and now he is giving his dad and brother in law Jason pointers that you taught him...it is just a site to see..but I know that you are up there just laughing at these boys trying to trap a hog...it is really a funny site to see...we all laugh at the stories we hear from them when they get back from the hunting lease...I just wish you was still with us and well enough to get on your 4 wheeler and join us out at the camp and have one heck of a time...cause that is how you always spent your winters on...hunting every season and getting enough meat to share with me and others....always remember you will be missed but never forgotten....we love you pop...

Daddy - I miss you already. I wish your life had been different and so many things about your life had been different. I wish you did not have to leave in pain. I am glad you are at peace with God and that you finally get to see your father and your mother in heaven. I know the Vincents are there too and other members of your real family that you never got to see. I am glad that you got the graveside military service that you always wanted and deserved. I love you and will never forget you. You are in my heart always. Your daughter, Caroline.
