Funeral services for Merlin Moss, 61, of Evadale will be 2:00 pm Friday, September 21, 2007 at Central Baptist Church in Evadale with interment following in Morse Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.
Mr. Moss died September 19, 2007 at Silsbee Convalescent Center.
A native and lifelong resident of Evadale, Merlin was a welder and ironworker by trade. He was a US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife Betty Burrow Moss of Evadale; son Todd Moss and wife Amanda of Silsbee; daughter Lorrie Moss of Houston; brothers, Jim Moss, Gerald Moss and Harold Moss, all of Evadale; sisters, Laverne Landis and Joy Havens, both of Evadale and grandson Zachary Tillman of Silsbee.
