Funeral services for Bessie Lee Burrell, 78, of Evadale will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Central Baptist Church in Evadale. Interment will follow at Morse Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. All services will be under the direction of R.S. Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.
Mrs. Burrell died October 18, 2007 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Bessie was a native and lifelong resident of Evadale. She was a lifelong resident of Evadale. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. A member of the Beaumont Rose Society, she was on the board of the Tyrell Park Garden Center and was instrumental in the layout of the botanical garden. She was also member of the State Floral Society where she often judged.
Survivors include husband W. J. Burrell of Evadale; daughter Yolanda Franks of Kountze; sister Bobbie Jean Kirby of Evadale; brother Robert Jake Goins of Evadale anad grandson Jeffrey Lynn Franks of Kountze.
