Funeral services for Gerald Taylor Mooney, 79, of Buna will be 10:00 am Monday, November 12, 2007 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Good Hope Cemetery in Fields, Louisiana at 2:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Mooney died November 10, 2007 at his residence in Buna.
Gerald was born in Etoil, Texas and was a longtime Buna resident. He was a retired machine operator.
Preceded in death by his wife Esther Mooney, survivors include son Buford Gerald Mooney of Buna; sister Daphna Lavonne Pate of Lufkin; brother Garvin Mooney of Lufkin; stepsons Steven Glasspool and Charles Glasspool; fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
