1964 - 2008

U. S. Air Force TSgt Robert Martin Wright, 43 of Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico passed away at his residence on January 5, 2008.

Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2008 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. with a Memorial service on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Buna, Texas, followed by a full military honors burial at Wright Cemetery in Newton County under the direction of Farmer's Funeral Home, Silsbee, Texas.

He is survived by his parents Clark Edwin Wright and Fannie Whatley Wright of Buna, Tx. Siblings; Deborah Kay Turner of San Antonio, Tx., Nathan Edward Wright Beaumont, Tx, Linda Gail Kemp and husband Greg of Lafayette, La., Laurie Ann Richardson and husband Nathan Allen of Evadale, Tx., Mary Beth Fritscher and husband John of San Antonio, Tx. and Geneva (Genny) Wright of Buna, Tx. Nieces & Nephews; Matthew Turner and his wife Ashley, Jonathan Turner, Rebecca Thompson, Elizabeth and James Kemp, Amanda, Clint and Hope Richardson, Kristin, Christopher, Caleb and Lauren Fritscher and one great niece Clara June Turner.

A native of Buna and a graduate of Buna High, Class of 1982, he enlisted with the Air Force to pursue his dream of working on fighter planes such as the F-16 and proudly served his country for 19 years. Robert was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

TSgt Wright's body will be escorted home by friend and fellow airman MSgt Justin Flygare. The family would also like to express gratitude to Major Richard McKee, MSgt Curtis Stanley, Lt. Corey Helms and everyone at Cannon Air Force Base for their kindness and assistance.
