Alphonse Miller Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1915 - 2008 Funeral services for Alphonse Miller, 92, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at St. Marks Catholic Church in Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home, with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm with rosary at 6:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Miller died January 19, 2008 at Pine Arbor Health Care in Silsbee. A native of Church Point, Louisiana, Alphonse was a long time resident of Silsbee. He was a retired carpenter. He is preceded in death by his wife Eunice. Survivors include daughter Aline Buckner of Silsbee; sons Wayne Miller and Kenneth Miller both of Silsbee; sisters Rena Toludis of Winnie Stowell and Mary Decoux of Pt. Neches and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Just want you all to know how sorry I am to hear about your loss. My sister let me know today that Mr. Miller had passed. I know how you all feel as we just lost Mom on November 29, 2007. I will keep you all in my prayers. Love Susie

I am sorry to hear about Mr. Miller, although I know he had a very full life of 93 years. I have most of my memories of him when I was a child. We would visit him and Eunice (we always knew them as MR and Mrs Miller)very often. Some of the best meals I ever ate were prepared at their home. There was Always plenty to eat. Mr Miller was very well known for the vegetables he grew which even helped to feed my children when I was parenting. Mr Miller loved to play dominos' and I remember him always speaking in the "French" language to Mrs Miller. Iwas so amazed as a little girl to hear them speaking in a language I had never heard and could never understand. My love and prayers are with his family and his children, my childhood friends,ALine Wayne and Kenny. May God Bless all of you.
