1947 - 2008

Nina Viola Goins, 60, of Silsbee, continued on her journey with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, January 23, 2008.

Nina was born to Hazel Mae and Selman Earl Williams on November 24, 1947 in Beaumont.

Mrs. Goins was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Glendon Goins, Sr. She is survived by her mother Hazel Mae Goins of Waterwood-Huntsville; brothers Howard Earl Williams of Waterwood-Huntsville, Kenneth Wayne Williams of Woodville and Chris Williams and wife Lisa of Waterwood-Huntsville; daughter LaNell Fountain and husband Scott of Silsbee; daughter Kimberly Knupple of Silsbee; son Milton D. Jackson and wife Jackie of Silsbee; son Thomas 'Ace' Jackson and wife Liz of Kountze; daughter Robbie Ashmore and husband Mo of Burkeville; daughter Bobbie Medley of Burkeville and son Thomas Glendon Goins, Jr. and wife Sunshine of Burkeville. Nina is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Nina was a homemaker and worked at Wal-Mart for a time. She adored Elvis, loved to craft and enjoyed surfing the internet.

Funeral services are 10:00 am Monday, January 28, 2008 at Farmer Funeral Home with burial following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers attending her will be Britt Hartford, Toby Matthews, Frank McBroom, Steve McBroom, Clif Reid and Wade Burdette. Brother Nathan Allemang from Nina's church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Silsbee will officiate.

Family and friends are invited to Kimberly Knupple's home at 2598 Brenham Rd. in Silsbee after the service.
