I am in a state of numbness, not wanting to bare my true soul about the man who abandoned me, nor the relief of not having to live with him on a daily basis, or the seperation of siblings which occurs during numerous divorces, but I am sadder that I did not get to know my "Kinard" family better, or hang out with Aunt Opal and chase lizards around more, or braid Michelles hair YET again, or see lil Brandon grow up, or sneak cigs with Charles Ray. I only got to spend 2 summers in Texas, clearly not enough time then, or not enough time has passed, to rewind the time spent apart. So many questions unanswered, and with "Daddy" they died too.
