Graveside services for Gus Noble Hollomon, 94, of Lumberton will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hollomon died March 22, 2008 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Gus was a long time resident of the area. He proudly served his country with the US Army during WWII where he received the Purple Heart. He was a retired pressman for the Beaumont Enterprise.
Preceded in death by his wife Christine, survivors include daughters Dana Pool of Vidor, Nelva Maxey of Crystal Beach and Syble Braden of Santa Fe; son Ronnie Hollomon of Lumberton; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
