Can this be our old PE teacher? I still remember playing softball on frosty sunny mornings; square dancing in the gym with the (mostly unwilling) boys' PE classes; our foot races against each other on the old junior high campus (where there is now a bank) under her watchful eye...and stopwatch! Her sparkling white blouse and shorts setting off her beautifully tanned skin and short dark hair. I at once hated her 'pushing' us to exercise and admired her teaching. I do remember her. Thanks, Ms. E!

Dearest Ruth and family, I am saddened by the news of Louise's death. Altho I did not know her personally, I do know how deeply loved that she was by her family. Ruth, I know through Charlie and through Mary Lou, how kindly and lovingly, that you took care of Louise in her last years. I know that God will bless you for that and your sorrow will be lessened by just knowing that you did all you could to make life better for her. I will try to be at the funeral on Monday. Love, Mary Haynes
