Funeral services for Leeman Douglas Williams, Sr. 52, of Spurger, will be 4:00 pm Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Hooks-Cravy Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Williams died May 16, 2008 at Tyler County Hospital in Woodville.
A native of Converse, Louisiana, Leeman was a longtime resident of Silsbee before moving to Spurger. He worked for Kirby Forest Industry until it closed and was a longtime employee with Silsbee Independent School District in maintenance.
Survivors include wife Thelma Williams of Spurger; sons Leeman Douglas Williams, Jr. of San Saba and Jason Yeagin of Spurger; daughters Leeann Williams of Spurger and Angela Slaughter and Samantha Yeagin both of Silsbee; brothers Larry A. Williams of Silsbee, Preston Williams of Kirbyville, Bruce Williams of Silsbee and Revell Youngblood of Pasadena; sisters Nancy Hendrix and Frankye Riley both of Silsbee, Diane Rashall of Kirbyville, Annette Babinet of Silsbee and Vickie Nichols of Kirbyville; twenty two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
