Alpha Faye Markins Finley, 84, of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord May 16, 2008 at home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Pastor James Jobe. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born January 8, 1924, in Roach, WV, a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Morrison Markins. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randal Winkie Finley; a grandson, Everett Adkins Jr.; two sisters, Mary Butcher and Rachel Hines; two brothers, Joseph Markins and Danny Markins. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Everett Adkins of West Hamilin, Deborah Adkins of Huntington, Robin Finley at home,Rachel and Greg Burns of Barboursville; six grandchildren, Susan Maynard, Crystal Adkins, Ceanna Adkins, Randy Adkins, Trevor and Jacob Burns, 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Markins of Salt Rock, WV, Paul Markins of Baltimore, Maryland and James Markins of Barboursville. Special thanks to Hospice of Huntington and her nurse, Karen Laney. Friends may call from 6 to 9 pm Sunday, at the Wallace Funeral Home. debbie im sorry for your loss your mom was a great woman, i know its real hard when you lose someone you love. christopher and jordyn still talk about their mama finley being in heaven. we think they dont know whats going on but they do they know their mama is in a better place with god.

Robin and family.I am so sorry for your loss.I have fond memories of your Mom .When I used to come over with Mary alice.She was a wonderful person.
