Gregory Lee Ziegler, 58 born November 5, 1949 in Huntington, West Virginia, to Mary Ziegler of Huntington and the late George M. Ziegler died Thursday, May 15, 2008 in St. Marys Medical Center. He was also preceded in death by a step brother Aaron Boo Webb and a stepsister Conswella Monique Nikki McClure.

Greg attended school in Huntington and soon after enlisted in the U.S. Marines. Later, he was employed for several years with the city of Huntington with the Park Board, and also served as a lifeguard for numerous summers at the A. D. Lewis Community Center Pool. He was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.

In addition to his loving mother, her leaves to cherish his memory an ex-wife and devoted friend Paula Pendleton Ziegler Goudy of Augusta, GA; four sons, Gregory Lee Ziegler, Jr. of MD. Alonzo Pendleton of WV, John Ziegler and Gregory Ziegler, III both of GA; six brothers and three stepbrothers, Anthony, George, Michael, Mark, Stephon and Edward Ziegler, Grant and Leslie McClure, and Keith Webb; four sisters and two step sisters, Patricia (David) Austin, Janett and April Ziegler, Kathy Harris, Marcie (William) Garrett, and Joya Webb; a special great-aunt Beulah Wells; 21 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be 11:00AM Thursday, May 22, 2008 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church with Fater Livinus Uba, officiating. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00PM Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Callender Funeral Home.
