1913 - 2008
Marian M. Jensen age 94 of Sheridan went to Heaven to be with her husband Chester E. Jensen the love of her life on Saturday June 7, 2008 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Hospital Greenville. She was born to Fred and Lena Hansen Larsen December 6,1913 in Montcalm Township.
She always liked music, dancing, traveling , camping and her flowers. She was organist at Dannebrog Lutheran Church eight years for Rev. Peter Thompsen. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors for sixty plus years and also the Community Circle.
She was married on January 18,1932 to Chester E. Jensen and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2006. She was also preceded in death by four grandsons, one grand daughter, a great grandson, her sister, Flora Skinner, brothers, Harry, Einer, Arthur and Milo Larsen, and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Pat Jensen July 11, 2006.
She is survived by her three sons;Darwin and Mila, Kenneth and Arvin Jensen, grand daughters, grandsons, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and family may pay their respects to Marian at Hurst Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM Monday June 9,2008. Private funeral services will be at Dannebrog Lutheran Church with burial at the South Sidney Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the South Sidney Cemetery Association or the Heritage Village |

Uncle Darwin, Aunt Mila, Grandpa Arvin, and Uncle Ken,
I wish i could have stayed home a few more days to be there with you. Know that i am with you in spirit though... I love you all.

Dear Darwin and Mila and children, I just mentioned to my husband, Gene, last week that I wondered if Marian was still in her home or where and now this. We send our sincerest sympathy. You know, Dar, how far I go back knowing your family--kindergarten 1949 when mom (Katie Rieckman) and I came from Kentucky to live at her sister's Rosie Hanna then lived at the Perrys before she married Robert Rieckman. I used to stop and see Chet and Marian and then Marian but it has been a long time. I am glad that she was alert all the years i saw her.She and Chet were one of the few couples that came to Rosie and Dick's funeral and I so appreciated it. I found out about this too late for visitation so please accept my written condolence.
