This morning I saw the beautiful rose in its vase on my table and thought I need to let Uncle Leslie and family know this. For those of you who weren't able to be at the funeral of Aunt Caroline, at the cemetery after the service, Uncle Leslie presented all of us "ladies" with a long stem rose. A gentleman as always and a very thoughtful thing to do. At the funeral not much was said about Aunt Caroline's life. I went to this sight and printed the information the family had provided for my records. I want to add that at all family activities I always sought Aunt Caroline out for a pleasant conversation. I loved her quick wit and easy smile. When I was young and she joined our family she was working in an office as a professional the same as my Aunt Joan. Both of them set my course to want to be an administrative assistant to a professional. Today I am an executive secretary to the Warden of the facility where I work. At the funeral my thoughts turned to Linda whose grown family or some were there. I saw Janice and many of her family. I used to go and stay with Janice/Linda when we were children. I always had a great adventure. The love of family was very evident that day. My family remembers the times in Florida spent visiting Uncle Leslie/Aunt Caroline and in recent years the trips they made to mom's place at the lake. Everyone told the rest of us what fun they had. Best of all Uncle Leslie and Aunt Caroline shared themselves with others as the heads of our great family. Thank you, Love Marilyn
