Donald L. Gender age 78 of Greenville died Tuesday June 24, 2008 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Greenville. He was born in Gowen on April 24, 1930 the son of Clyde and Lottie Green Gender. He was a veteran of the US Army, a member of the American Legion Post 101 of Greenville and was retired from Northland Corporation.
Surviving are his children Debra Segard of Trufant, Douglas and Bobbi Bittenbender of Greenville, Dale and Pam Gender of Sparta and Jerry and Tina Eickenroth of Cedar Springs, 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, his brothers, Bruce Gender of Greenville and Dale Gender of Gowen, his sister Maxine Wood of Greenville and nieces and nephews.
A time of Visitation will be held Thursday June 26,2 008 at Hurst Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM. Memorial contributions may be given to the Ray I . Booth Post # 101 American Legion of Greenville.
