Graveside funeral services for James Leon Clark, 79, of Kountze will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2008 at Jena, LA.

Mr. Clark died July 9, 2008 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Mr. Clark was born in El Dorado, AR and was a longtime Kountze resident. He was an Army veteran and was owner of Jim's Pizza Plus.

Survivors include wife Judy Clark of Kountze; son Mike Clark of Carthage; daughters Cathy Richter of Cheney, WA and Rebecca Landis of Silsbee; step-daughter Sharron Spivey of Kountze; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Jeannette Lorch Clark.

Another good neighbor has left us. The Clarks were first rate in their work ethics, their love and family and their giving hearts. My family attended First Baptist as did the Clarks. Cathy, Mike and Becky were school mates. Mrs. Clark - the first - was the school nurse. Mr. Clark was always available if and when anyone needed his help. He will be missed and may his tribe increase.
