Patricia Grace Commee age 73 of Fenwick died at her home Monday July 14, 2008.
She was born in Sheridan on May 21, 1935 the daughter of Arthur and Ethel Slocum Kreeger. Pat was formerly employed at the Belding Hospital and was a member of the American Legion Post # 101 Auxiliary of Greenville, the Lester J. Sitts VFW Post Auxiliary of Sheridan and the Greenville Moose Lodge. She enjoyed ceramics and bingo and enjoyed traveling with her husband. She was married to Durwood Commee who preceded her in death on March 16,1999. Her parents, brothers Charles, Owen , Marvis and Arthur Kreeger and sisters Jeanette Mitchell, Kreta Lane and Louise Swainston also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children; Roxanne F. Johnson of Greenville, Bobbie Watson of Fenwick, Deb and Charles McDaniel of Edmore, Rex C. Humphrey, Craig Richards both of Fenwick, Terry Raymond of Tennessee, Pam and Steve Henricksen of Gowen, Floyd and Judy Richards of Stanton, Rich and Crystal Richards of Gowen, Tim Richards and Kim Burke of Trufant, Archie Richards and Tracy Weed of Gowen and Step daughter Dee Goowin of Martin, 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, her sister Bernice Mason of Greenville, her sisters-in law and brothers-in-law; Pauline Kreeger of Greenville, Genevieve Kreeger of Sheridan, William and Betty Commee of N.C. , Roger and Ruth Ann Commee of Greenville, Gordon and Susan Commee , Tom Commee, Marilyn and Bobby Hawsey, Marlene and Bob Barber , Carolyn and Richard Jones , Sally Cramer and Margene Fales all of Florida and Loretta Commee of Lakeview and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Friday July 18, 2008 at 3 PM from Hurst Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Harger officiating. Burial will be in Sheridan Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 PM on Friday.
