KELLEY- Mr. Lyle Eugene Kelley, age 84, of Sidney, longtime Greenville resident, died Monday, July 21, 2008 in Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virgie, in 1974; and his siblings, Nyle Hamp, Betty Sheldon, Pete Kelley, and Bob Kelley. He is survived by his children, Sheila (Lee) Kendall of Rochester, MI and Diane (Elwood) Albertson of Sidney; grandchildren, James Barrus (Heather Newton) of Coral, Jason Barrus of Sidney, and Jesse (Lyan) Barrus of Florida; great-grandson, Jacob Barrus; sister, Dora LaCross of Alma; brother, Al (Nancy) Lincoln of Greenville; brother-in-law, Ronald Johnson of Greenville; and many nieces and nephews. Lyle served his country in the United States Army in World War II. He retired from Electrolux in Greenville after 38 years of employment. He enjoyed playing golf and camping with his family. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 at Hurst Funeral Home with visitation from 11-1 prior to the service. Pastor Ken Harger will serve as officiant. Interment will be in Sidney Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Lyles honor are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
