Ruth Ehrensberger Chaney Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1919 - 2008 Funeral services for Ruth R. Chaney, 89, of Friendswood, will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 10, 2008 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial to follow Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Chaney died September 7, 2008 at Clear Lake Regional Hospital. A native of Silsbee, she was a retired accounting clerk. Survivors include sister-in-law Mary Ehrensberger of Lumberton and Choren Davis of Silsbee; nieces and nephews Tommy and Brenda Ehrensberger, Kerry Ehrensberger, Frotze Kormeier, Mike Kormeier, Charlotte Rothwell, Gwen Dehart and many great nieces and nephews

Dear Family of Ruth Ehrensberger, I was so sorry to hear of Ruth's death. It was not something that I had expected. I had visited Mary Lou last week and Mary Lou had told me that Ruth had been falling often, and Mary Lou was hopeful that Ruth would come and live at the Nursing Home where she lived. I knew Ruth mostly indirectly, but heard so many instances of how caring she was. As I talked to Charley so often, he was always telling me about things that Ruth had brought him, how she woud drive from Houston to see him. And I knew too, of how Ruth was such a wonderful caregiver for Louise. I know that she will be greatly missed by the family, loving folks like her are long remembered. Sincerely, Mary Lowe Haynes
