I will always cherish the friendship I had with Carol. I worked with Carol at Sheridan Hospital--she was one of the most caring and kindest person I have ever known and will miss her greatly. My heart goes out to you in this time of sadness. May God bless you.

Carol was an exceedingly good person. During Carolyn Post Petersen loved all her nieces and nephews very much. Carol and Gary brought the children to spend time at Carolyn and Lewis's house. That made Carolyn very happy. Carol and Gary were with Lewis on the last day of Carolyn's long illness. I am so grateful for their kindness.

Melissa, Heidi, "Sprout" and Nathan -
Nothing we say can take away the pain of your loss. Just know that the Lord is with you as He has been with John and I since Rob's death. He will provide the grace and strengh to see you though.

I worked with Carol for 4 yearsw at Sheridan Hospital. She was such as awesome woman in all ways. I learned so much from her. Even after I left Sheridan, I still have many great memories of Carol. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this difficult time. May the Lord be with you in your journeys. She is now with Gary who she talked so highly about and she loved him so much. I can still see her beautiful smile. I know you are all a strong Christian family and that makes this easier, but it is still very hard. REmember you have many people praying for you right now. God bless you all

Having lost my mother almost 2 years ago, I know how the rooms where your mom cooked, cleaned, and lived... can seem so empty and quiet now. It doesn't seem right to see her personal things so unprotected, and left untouched. It must be even more difficult for you all to be so young and having to go through this loss...again.
you are in my thoughts, and maybe, like me, you can take a little comfort in knowing how just being there was much nicer for her than any alternatives.
Thanks for sharing her with us at SCH. She must have been so nice to have had as a mom.

To the family of Carol,
I worked with your mom, what a wonderful loving and caring person she was, she was always giving of herself and asked nothing in return. I know she was sick for awhile and I know the road was tough for her. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time. May god wrap his arms around each one of you at this difficult time.
Your moms friend and co-worker,

Carol was by far one of the best nurses I have had the pleasure to work with. She treated every patient with loving care and there wasn't one patient who did not love her. Carol's smile always lit up the room and has been so missed by all. She always spoke of her children with such pride and total love. Although Carol is no longer physically with us, she will never be forgotten and the beautiful memories of her graciousness will live in the hearts of so many people. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. May you take comfort in knowing that she is with her beloved Lord and is now without pain or suffering in the new eternal home that He created for her. Bless you all for making Carol's life the very best possible. With my love and sympathy, Betsie

For a time in my life, Carol was like a second mother to me. She was an exceedingly sweet woman who always welcomed me into her home and made me feel like part of the family. I greatly admired Carol's strength of character in her ability to successfully raise a family of four after the passing of Gary. I can attest that she helped to instill great values in all of her children. Nathan and I have been friends for almost fifteen years, and one couldn't ask for a more loyal and kindhearted friend. The times may seem dark now, but I don't think Carol would have wanted us to be sad. Like Nathan told me, she is reunited with Gary now, and I'm sure that they both beam with pride when they look upon what strong, kind, and faithful people their children have become.

We are so sorry for you in the loss of your precious mother. We went all through school with her and remember her for her sweet nature and ever present smile.Seeing her picture is bittersweet. Your family is beautiful and I am sad to think of you without your mom and your dad. I'm sad that there's no chance I'll run into her and have the joy of "catching up" I am happy that you had a blessed mom you could be proud of. We'll be spending eternity with her and we hope to meet each of you in Heaven, too! May God bless each of your lives with joy and peace and may you feel His unending love and comfort as you miss your mom. With Sincere Sympathy, Tom and Gwen (Fryling) Snoeyink
