Funeral services for Adelle A. Cochran, 91 of Lumberton will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 20, 2008 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Bethel Chapel Cemetery in Pineland. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday.

Mrs. Cochran entered into eternal rest September 18, 2008 at Dubuis Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.

A native of Marengo County, Alabama, Mrs. Cochran was a long time resident of Lumberton. She was a retired sales clerk and a member of First Baptist Church of Loeb.

Adelle was preceded in death by her parents Coma and Leona Drinkard, sister Ilean Price and grandson David Glenn Digmon. Survivors include her son Reverend David Digmon and wife Mae of Beaumont Colony; sister Trula Vee Quinney of Linden, AL; grandchild Dava Rene Freeman and husband Gary L. Freeman of Beaumont Colony; great grandchildren Daniel Johnson and fiancée Laura Vaughn, Samuel Johnson and Amanda Digmon; great, great grandchildren Sidney Digmon, Jacob and Matthew Vaughn and a host of extended family and friends.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank Village Creek Rehabilitation in Lumberton, Dubuis Hospital - St. Elizabeth in Beaumont and Dubuis Hospital - St. Patrick in Lake Charles.

Bro. Dave and Ms. Mae...I am so sorry for your loss. I have lots of memories of Mrs. Anderson from my young teen days at Bethel Chapel Church. I loved her with all my heart. You guys too. My prayers are with you . Love, Kathy
