Phillip Simon Wendling Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1928 - 2008 A visitation only for Phillip Simon Wendling, 80, of Lumberton will be 5 - 7 pm Friday, October 3, 2008 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Mr. Wendling died September 30, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, Mr. Wendling was a longtime resident of Lumberton. He was a retired painter and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife Betty Wendling of Lumberton; daughters Regina N. Hancock of Lumberton, Sheila Kay Schoen of Lumberton and Sharon Kay Pickard of Kountze; son Phillip Glenn Wendling of Lumberton; four grandchildren (Megan, Katie, Shawna, & Brandon) and six great grandchildren (Landen, Logan, Gary, Morgan, Dustin, & Brandon).

Survivors include his wife Betty Wendling of Lumberton; daughters Regina N. Hancock of Lumberton, Sheila Kay Schoen of Lumberton and Sharon Kay Pickard of Kountze; son Phillip Glenn Wendling of Lumberton; four grandchildren (Megan, Katie, Shawna, & Brandon) and six great grandchildren (Landen, Logan, Gary, Morgan, Dustin, & Brandon). I don't know where this obit came from, but he deserves to have it be correct. We all will miss our Pawpaw very much!!
