Marylyn Sue ArlanMarylynn Sue Adamcik Arlan, beloved life, mother, and grandmother, passed away Oct. 1, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont after a brief illness.

The visitation will begin at 4 p.m., and the rosary at 5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 5, at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 6, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Silsbee. Burial will follow at Trout Creek Cemetery in Call.

Marylynn was born Feb. 6, 1947, in Victoria, to Otto Louis Adamcik and Irene Bailey Adamcik. She was the second of their five children. She

graduated from Nazareth Academy Catholic High School in 1965 and moved to Houston where she met the love of her life, Dennis Arlan. They were

married on April 29, 1967 and lived in the Victoria and Houston area as well as Louisiana before settling in

Silsbee.

Marylynn was employed as vice president of operations for Texas Thermowell until her retirement. She was a member

of St. Mark Catholic Church.

Marylynn had sparkling eyes, a gentle spirit, and a tremendous capacity for love. Her faith in God sustained her

through the many changes and challenges in her life. She was a wonderful cook and loved to find a bargain.

Marylynn was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dennis Arlan Sr.; daughter, April Honeycutt; son, Dennis Arlan Jr. and wife Wynette. Missing their Mimi

are her grandchildren, Alex, Jordan, Quincy and Payton Honeycutt and Erin, Eric and Alyssa Arlan. She is also survived by her siblings and a host of relatives and friends.

Special in her life were also John Honeycutt and Mary Hamblin.

Marylynn will be greatly missed, but we know she is dancing in heaven.
