 Funeral services for Richard 'Duck' Dennis Brunner, Sr., 52, of Beaumont will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Calvary Baptist Church in Homer, LA with interment following in Arlington Cemetery in Homer. Farmer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Brunner died October 23, 2008 at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston.
A native of Homer, LA, Richard was a longtime resident of this area. He worked as a safety engineer.
Mr. Brunner was preceded in death by his father Robert Gordon Brunner, Sr. Survivors include his wife Patricia Wolford Brunner of Beaumont; sons Richard D. Brunner Jr. and wife Paula of Lumberton, Lucas Brunner and wife Misty of Evadale and Daniel Brunner and wife Jessica of Silsbee; daughters Angela Bryan and husband Glenn of Colmesneil and Crystal Edwards and husband Cody of Singer, LA; mother Climmie Brunner of Homer, LA; brothers Ricky Dean of Lumberton and Robert Gordon Brunner, Jr. of Homer, LA and twelve grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help offset funeral costs may be made directly to the funeral home. |

Tricia...there are no words that will take away your pain...I was so saddened when I heard and am sorry that I could not be there for you...please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you...I never met you or him but felt to know you both and can only say you are both wonderful people..May God Bless You and Yours and hold you in His comforting arms...again am so sorry... I'm so sorry Tricia. I can not imagine your pain. Just remember that you had five great years with Richard. Also, remember that you have friends that are here for you. Even though we aren't physically there, we are with you in our thoughts and prayers.

hi trica im so sorry to hear of your husbands passing , may god watch over you and your family at this time and keep you in his loving arms. ive been there myself loosing my husband i know no words can help you in this time of your life but just remember keep him in your heart allways and someday soon you will be together again. .....old escape2 league member.
