Funeral services for Douglas Merl Bouse, 82, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bouse died October 26, 2008 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Beaumont, Douglas was a longtime resident of Winnie, Texas before moving to Silsbee in 2000. He was a retired pipefitter and he proudly served his country in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include wife Gladys Fae Bouse of Silsbee; son Douglas Wayne Bouse and wife Judy Renee of Austin; sister Evelyn Conway of LaMarque; granddaughters Rachel Rutledge and Catherine Bouse both of Winnie; great grandson William Blythe Bouse of Winnie and numerous nieces and nephews.
