Funeral services for Alice B. Golson, 96, of Lindale, Texas will be 10:00 am Monday, October 27, 2008 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with a private interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
Mrs. Golson died October 25, 2008 at Colonial Nursing Center in Lindale, Texas.
A native of Trinity County, Texas, Alice was a resident of Beaumont for most of her life before moving to Lindale three years ago. Mrs. Golson retired from Hotel Beaumont where she waitressed at the Black Cat Café. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Golson was preceded in death by her husband James L. Golson and son Vilous Fox, Jr. Survivors include grandchildren Darlene Nicholson of Mineola, Texas and Randy Fox of Silsbee; stepson Mack L. Golson of Beaumont; stepdaughter Barbara Ann Wooten of Bloomington, IN; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
