Sue, we heard the news about Steve Wednesday afternoon. WE have spent some time recalling great memories about Steve and your family. As you know, there is a time to cry and a time to laugh. It is OK to cry Sue, and do it with all your might. It is also OK to laugh and do that with all your being! We love you and are praying for you and your family during this growing time.

Since hearing the news today, I've had so many memories flood my mind of my years with the Hudson family. Not only did I have the privilege of being Mr. Hudson's student, but I was honored to have been chosen to babysit for them, when their oldest ones were in need childcare. It's one thing to know your teachers in the classroom, but quite another to know the family in their own home! The Oakfield years were adventurous! I have especially humorous memories of Mr. Hudson's PE classes (soccer games!) and dodge ball games during our recesses! Mrs. Hudson, and family, you have my warmest thoughts and prayers today.

Dear Sue and family. We send our deepest sympathies for your loss.
Steve was a special man and good friend. I will always remember our time together as young teachers/coaches in Birch Run. Steve was an exceptional teacher and coach. I will miss him dearly.
You will be in our thoughts and prayers. May God Bless You.

Dear Sue and family,
We would like to send our deepest sympathies at this time of great loss for you. Steve will always hold a close and dear spot in my heart, I considered him a friend, and brother. We can rejoice in his homecoming and meeting the Lord Jesus Christ our saviour and king! While we know Steven is in good hands and he is undoubtly enjoying meeting his many friends in heaven, it is you I am most concerned about at this time. You will be in our prayers through the coming days. Take care and my God bless you and give you strength through this time.

I remember Steve at the all the soccer games at Oakfield Baptist Academy but especially at the St. Matt's in Holt as they always had the cheapest hot dogs and Steve and I loved the price and the dogs we always eat more then we should have because they were so cheap. Steve was always smiling and having a good time even in the cold. My condolences to the Hudson family he will be missed.

Dear Sue and Family,
Holly and I send our condolences and prayers. I'm so glad we were able to see you at the Picnic Pops last summer. I remember with fondness Steve coaching our basketball team at Ashley and spending many afternoons at your house on Tully. Also, I don't know if you remember this - but I got to help Steve build the retaining wall around the back basement door at the old Ashley church building - thoroughly enjoyed it! You will all be in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

We celebrate with you that Steve had given his life to the Lord. We celebrate with you how much Steve accomplished in his short life. Though we only met him during his illness, it was easy to tell that in his health he had been a strong and vibrant man. He reminds us of Psalm 112:1,2 "Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth." The eternal results of his efforts are evident. Our love and prayers are for all of your family.
