Grace  Isobel StreetGrace I. Street aged 90 of Greenville MI died at her home, November 10, 2008.

Absent from the body, she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She was born in Toronto, Canada on May 28, 1918 the daughter of Harold W. and Winnifred Galbraith Crone.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her brothers, Walter, Melvin and Douglas and her sisters Merle and Zelma.

Surviving are her husband Rev. Norman H. Street whom she married on September 16, 1938, her sons, Paul (Lorna) of Smithville TN and Phillip Street of Halifax, Nova Scotia and daughter Norma (Doug) Sower of Gowen, six grandchildren and their spouses and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother Robert Crone of Toronto and sister Gladys Edwards of Florida and her husbands siblings, Robert Sweet of London Ontario and Lois Neely of Toronto.

Greatly loved by members of five churches served by her pastor husband, Grace was always involved in Sunday School, choir, and as her husbands secretary. A radiant example and dear friend, she will be greatly missed.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Hurst Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. David Oliver at Ashley Baptist Church on Thursday November 13, 2008 at 1 PM, 10463 Belding Rd with burial in Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ashley Baptist Church will be appreciated.

If Pastor Street is still alive could someone please convey to him how highly i regarded him,and often still think of him because of the great blessing he was in my life while at berean and then later as a student at tbs. thank you very much.

Your family has lost a lovely woman. Mrs.Street was always kind, caring, interested and respectful. Her gift of story telling and writing, and loyalty and love towards friends and family was greatly admired. She will be missed by all those she touched. Our hearts are with all of you.
