To Uncle Leonards' family. I don't know all of your addresses so couldn't send a sympathy card. I was always glad to see him when he came to visit. I enjoyed listening to the stories he would tell. Aunt Dorothy said he had planned on coming to see me on his last trip here but he had gotten too sick. I didn't know he had planned on coming but it made me feel good knowing that he had been thinking of me and had planned on coming. I'll miss seeing him at the Youker Reunions in August. May God bring comfort and peace to you all. Love Joyce

Leonard will be sorely missed by all. I knew him for many years and used to play cards with him.. He was like my adopted grandpa..Although I could not make it to the funeral, he was and always will be in my thoughts. My prayers go out to his family and all the other peoples lives he touched.
