Leone Bean Duhon, of Buna, went to her heavenly home December 11, 2008 to start her eternal life surrounded by her loving family and friends. We rejoice that sickness and pain cannot abide in her new home.
Leone was born June 30, 1924 in Evadale, TX to Aggie Bell and John Henry Bean.
She was completely devoted to her husband, children and family. Anyone who needed a helping hand needed only to turn to her. She was attending Faith Outreach Church of God.
Leone was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 62 years, Clifton B.'Pete' Duhon and brother Robert Gerald Bean.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory four children, Ramona and husband Dr. Charles Satterwhite, Winona and Bishop David G. Davis, Aggie and Danny Whalen and son Clifton G. Duhon. Leone leaves behind ten beautiful grandchildren and eleven precious great grandchildren.
Services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following in Morse Cemetery. Rev. Brandenburg will officiate. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Silsbee Home Health and Silsbee Hospice for the loving care they gave our mother. A special thanks to Virginia and Shelly for their loving care and devotion to her also.
