I was shocked to read about Wayne's passing. I will keep all of the family in my prayers. This summer at the flea market will be so odd. We've lost quite a few of the regulars, including our most regular guy, my Dad. We can hold on to the knowledge that we will all see each other again. God be with you and give you peace! Your friend, Moe

Our Friend, Muriel Wilcox in Memory of Wayne
Wednesday January 7, 2009 at 9:41 AM

Dear Muriel, this week has been as if it were a dream or nightmare. It is still hard to grasp that we won't be getting together to do our favorite past time, EAT and LAUGH. I know there are many more memories with our mutual friends Carol and Jerry but we have a lot of them such as the bowling team we were on so many years together, the bonfires at our home for Gene's birthday in the fall, the fellowship back at your house. I liked Wayne's meatloaf and wanted to know how to make such a big one to serve so many people, so, I wrote it down and still have it labeled, Wayne's Meatloaf. Oh, the funny memories of the "playing tag" episode between the two of you and one got a broken toe. The real funny memory is when Wayne got up in the night because he heard a noise and started punching the blow-up you had because he thought it was somebody standing in the dark in your living room. Then there are so many memories from our years of going to church together. The ride on your pontoon this last fall was so enjoyed by all of us. That will probably be our most enjoyable memory because it was the most recent. I just can't go on and on but know that we really love you, Muriel. Barb and Gene Higginson
