Nancy S. Edwards age 64 of Roswell Georgia passed away Sunday January 4, 2009 in Roswell. She was born in Greenville, Michigan on October 7, 1944 the daughter of Clifton A and Darlene I. Allen Steele. She was a graduate of Grady School of Nursing in Atlanta GA and worked for many years at Grady Hospital and Northside Hospital in Atlanta.
She was married to J. Byron Edwards in Smyrna, Georgia on November 25, 1970. He survives along with their sons, Brad Edwards of Miami Beach FL and Curt Edwards of Roswell, her brother Norman Steele of Georgia and many cousins and uncle in Michigan.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday January 14, 2009 at 1 PM at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville with Rev. Jerrold T. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Langston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Nancy Steele Edwards Memorial Education Fund at Grady School of Nursing, Atlanta GA
