Kenneth  SorensenKenneth Lee Sorensen age 51 of Cedar Springs died at home Friday January 30, 2009. He was born in Greenville April 13, 1957 the son of Herman L. and Leona J. Bristol Sorensen. He graduated from Lakeview High School with the class of 1976 and worked at Wolverine World Wide for 28 years. He liked hunting, fishing and playing baseball, the out of doors, gardening and canning his foods.

He is survived by his sons, Jason Sorensen of Cedar Springs and Brandon and Heather Sorensen of Wyoming, grandchildren, Destinee and Bradyn, his mother Leona Sorensen of Trufant, brother Bruce and Tracy Sorensen of Cedar Springs, grandmothers, Irene Gustavsen of Six Lakes and Maude Sorensen of Trufant, his niece and nephews, Matthew, Michael, Austin and Alyssa, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Herman Junior Sorensen on October 23, 2002.

Funeral and committal services will be held on Tuesday February 3 at 2 PM from Hurst funeral Home, Greenville with Rev. Aaron I. Sorrels officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Trufant Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, consider the family needs for contributions

Ken was still my best friend and I couldnt ask for a better dad for my son Jason. We still were close I'm going to miss him more than anybody knows.Thank you ken for my son and the good years of my life.

Ken was a great uncle. I will miss him alot. I liked to go hunting with him at my great Grandmas. he always came and gave us vegtables. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Ken will be greatly missed by alot of people!! He had his faults (but who doesn't) but he was a great guy!! We will miss him alot
