Well it has been almost 4 years that you have been gone and there is not one single day that goes by that I don't think about something that we did together or just think about you in general. You were always there for me no matter what. You showed me the way through my childhood. I looked up to you! I miss you dearly and I know that you are watching over me and the rest of the family. The holidays are really hard without you here. I am just thankful that we got to spend the last Christmas together and talk about our issues and all that. I love you and miss you. Your kids are growing up so fast and I know for a fact that your parents are taking care of them. I see them often. We all miss you and cant wait until we see you again...Until then......

Dear Jennifer, it has been almost a year and a half. I think about you both often, and still wonder why. All I can do is trust that you are in Heaven and watching down on me and my crazy antics, of course thinking you should be a part of some. The holidays were hard on us all especially, but most of all I missed our picking as we've always done. I miss you, period. Plain and simply. As I'm sure you're watching, your babies are growing so fast and doing well. Love, your friend first, cousin later. Lol.

I extend my most sincere sympathy to ALL the Rice and Broussard family. I got to know Jennifer at LHS as a teacher, not because she was MY student, but because she was just a friendly, cheerful person that was EASY to get-to-know---and I was glad that I did make her acquaintance and her friendship. I live in the neighborhood with the Broussards and knew ALL the RICE boys from Lumberton High School Band--back when LUMBERTON was a small town and everyone knew everybody!!! Will be checking on ya'll and email me or call if you NEED anything specific that I can be of help with in the future. Will think of you all EVERY TIME I drive past the Broussards home. So you and Jennifer will not be forgotten. Sincerely, Mrs. Laurie Abercrombie Thomas

My family and I send our deepest condolences! When I heard about this tragedy on the news and saw the pictures, my husband and I were in complete shock. We spent an entire evening/night with this couple when both their and our children were in the ER in November. As we talked to this couple, one thing that was not mistakable was the love both of them had for their daughter. The family will be in our prayers!

Please accept my sympathy for your sad loss. Jennifer was such a special person and it must be so difficult to come to terms with the fact she died so suddenly. May it comfort you to know that so many people care and are thinking of you and your family at this time. While there is nothing I can say that will ease your loss, I wanted you to know that I am grieving and thinking of you all.
