Funeral services for Oscar Branch 'O.B! Youngblood, 95. of Buna will be
11:00 am Saturday, February 7, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Buna
with interment following in Fellowship Cemetery in Warren. Visitation will
be 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the church in Buna.
Mr. Youngblood died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Harbor Hospice
in Beaumont.
O.B. was a native of Warren and a longtime resident of Buna. He was
retired from Borden Milk Company where he was a distributor.
Mr. Youngblood was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas
and Sinie Dowden Youngblood; three brothers, Johnny, Roy and Dick
Youngblood; son John K. Youngblood and wife of 32 years Earlene
Morris Youngblood,
Survivors include sister Lillian Shorter of Longview; step son John
Thomas 'Buddy and wife Flo and step daughter Ledah Freidkin, all of
Buna; grandchildren John B. Youngblood and wife Lisa, Joni and Joey
Rusts, Ashley and Charlie Szar, Rob Morris and wife Bev and Pam
Bridges and husband Gary; nine great grandchildren and four great,
great grandchildren.
