I am just now hearing of the loss of Mrs.Coe. I call her by her formal name out of the respect I had for her as my teacher, coach and from working in the Principal's office for her. She made lasting impressions on my life and I will always appreciate her. Your family is in my prayers. Wanda Traugott Dunlap

I was very saddened when I talked with my parents, Raymon and Betty Lindsey, and heard the news of Mrs. Coe. She was definitely an asset in my academic life at Kountze High School (1966-70). She was a wonderful person and teacher!

My last visit with Mrs. Coe was a time of reflection. We recalled our years together in school, swimming lessons, community activities. We discussed her spiritual life and the realization she had nothing to fear but everything to look forward to. In heaven there is no sickness, no stress, no unhappiness, no evil,no block voting, no abuse, no misery of any kind BUT only happiness and joy in HIS presence. As we spoke - Mrs. Coe smiled and nodded in agreement. It is now a reality for her and a possibility for all of us who remain! John 3:16

Sorry for loss. Can't believe Ethyl listed as a dear friend? How about a lousy maid with light fingers?
