In the late 1970's we purchased a chair which Roy had saved from the Greenville Odd Fellows Hall and a grandfather clock which Roy made...both were great works of art and are displayed in our Colorado Springs home. Even though we only met Roy and Dixie once we remember their smiles, can do attitudes and believe Roy was way too young to leave this earth. Our hearts and prayers go out to Dixie and their family. Blessings, Mary Smith Garvelink (formerly of Greenville) and John Garvelink of Colorado Springs, CO

Roy was always a loving and kind man, though he wasn't my father, he is what I wanted my father to be. A very special person who will be dearly missed.
