1923 - 2009
 HANSEN- Charles L. Hansen, longtime Greenville resident, died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Spectrum United Memorial Hospital in Greenville. He was born February 19, 1923 in Cadillac, the son of Nels and Clarabelle (Amy) Hansen. On December 19, 1948, he married Lola M. Thornburg in Cadillac. She survives, along with his children, Charles C.A. Armstrong, Larry (Deb) Hansen, Bob (Sue) Hansen, Joyce (Bob) Hicks, Mary (Ted) Snyder, Wayne (Bobbie) Hansen, John (Teree) Hansen, and Jim Bo Hansen; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Amanda Hansen, and his grandson, Dale D.J. Hansen. Mr. Hansen served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He loved spending time with family and friends, and was an avid bowler and camper. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no public services will be held. |
