I am very sad to hear about this. He was the best grandfather I could ever have. He is a big part of so many memories that I have, and still think about everyday. I wish my family well through this. He will be missed!

I was saddened to hear of Jimmy's death. I will fondly remember his love of life, and his ability to make everyone laugh. I was fortunate to work with him through Thad & Laurie's Mortgage Co. It was only for a short while, but he left footprints on my heart and I will remember him fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
May God Bless and comfort you!

Jim and I had know each other since we were around seven. We worked together at the Silver Theatre as teenagers. What fun that was!! He was a gentle, lovely man with a great sense of humor and always a twinkle in his eye. He will be missed terribly.Condolences to the whole family.

we have known Jim and Marsha for over 35 years. It has been a pleasure and honor to be considered their friends. We first met Jim when he came over to volunteer to help get our car out of the ditch, on Christmas day,1972. Jim has always volunteered to help, regardless of the inconvenience to him.We have done countless things and spent countless hours with this lovely couple, and cherish them all. Jim was an amazing talent, always able to make much from little, always with a joke and a smile, lifting others spirits. We know we will miss him much, but will be reunited someday, in heaven

It's a very rare occasion to meet two people as wonderful as Jimmy and Marsha. The times I was entertained by them at Sully's are memories I'll cherish forever. What a character Jimmy was! He was so fun, so welcoming, and his dedication and love for his wife was plainly seen in his eyes. We are blessed to have known him. Marsha, Thad & Laurie, and Torey, please accept our deepest sympathies and know that we are praying for comfort for each of you in the days to come.
Your Friends,

Marsha,
I wish I could give you a big hug-not that it would change anything. It's hard to imagine how much you must be hurting. You and Jim were always such a pair-you two have always been a model for others of what a loyal and longterm relationship should be. I'm glad you have your children and their families-you will need each other.
Jim had such an easy, gracious way about him, a contagious smile he made everyone feel special to him. He always made me feel that way. I will miss him at our reunions, the parties and that big smile when we would say "Hi Shirttail". I have many years of fond memories of Jim.
This is-and will be-so hard. I hope all the years of love and happy memories will be a comfort to you.
I send you my love and sympathy and prayers.
Sincerely,
Shirley Woodbury Stump
