1951 - 2009
 Larry Robert Rich age 57 of Orleans died at home Monday April 13, 2009.
He was born in Belding MI on July 9, 1951 the son of George and Emma Jeffrey Rich.
Larry was employed for Extruded Metals (Mueller Brass) for the past 37 years and loved hunting and working in his yard and enjoyed going with his family to movies. He was a member of Shiloh Church, the National Rifle Association and the American Legion Post of Stanton.
His wife Linda Waldorf Rich preceded him in death on May 10, 2005. Also preceding him were his parents and brother-in-law Jerry Trowbridge.
He is survived by his children; Kathy Rich Kent of Greenville, David Rich of Stanton and Eric and Jennifer Rich of Hinnesville, Georgia, step-son, Charles and Trish Jegla of Sidney, his grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Meagan, Owen, David Jr., Shane, Chuck Jr., Courtney and Aaron, sister Judy Trowbridge of Greenville, brothers, Clinton and Schereen Rich of Orleans and George Rich Jr. of Ionia, nieces and nephews, aunt and uncle, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Maude and Al Waldorf and family and son-in-law, Ray Kent of Belding.
Funeral services will be held on Friday April 17, 2009 at 1 PM at Hurst Funeral Home with his pastor, Ken Harger officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home |

Old friends are always just around the corner even if weare miles away. We can't wish Larry back but we can hold his memories in our heart. Seems like just yesterday we were running back and forth accross the street. Remember the laughs the little smiles. Love and stay close to those that are left. Larry would want you to love each other and not get bitter. Call me anytime and let the savior wipe those tears, God Bless you and our friendship over the years. Callie
