Cindi has been sharing your story with me and it has truly touched my heart to see not only Bub's strength but your's as well through all of this. I cannot imagine how you must be feeling but I know that God will continue to carry you through until you are all with Braeden once again. Burgess family I am truely sorry for your loss. I would like to share a memory and one of my favorite ones and that was the last time that I saw him. I remember you at check out with the little boys and his big beautiful smile making sure that he was going to get a sticker. I just wanted to let you know that we will miss his smile as he always brought joy to us. He will make a beautiful angel. May the Lord hold you tight at this trying time and you and your family are in my hearts and prayers! Your son will always have a special place in my heart.

Emails from Faith Baptist Church regarding your little guy have passed my desk regularly. I have not met you, yet I have counted it a privilege to go to the Heavenly Father in prayer for you over and over again. It is my prayer now: that you will never doubt the Father's passionate love for you: that He loves Braeden even more than you ever could have: that you will have His comfort in your grieving - that grief will not overtake you in a flood that seems hopeless - :that your marriage will be protected and strengthened as you grieve in your own personal ways as a Daddy and Momma and husband and wife. Your pain is such that I cannot fathom it - so I ask God to comfort you and touch you in all the hurting places that He CAN see and DOES know. May you stand firm in His hope, His promises, and His powerful love for you now and forevermore.
Know that every tear shed at His feet is one counted as precious and cared for by Him. He cares for you.....really. Never question that - it is truth. I'm praying you always know it.

Braeden Peter Burgess age 3 of Cedar Springs passed away at home on Saturday April 18, 2009. Braeden was born in Grand Rapids on May 16 2005 the son of Kevin L. and Dawn M. Sayers Burgess. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Greenville.
